Full Game for Strategy Fans
Expedition: Viking is a detailed strategy game that takes place in a large and very detailed frozen world. The game gives players the chance to take on the role of a Viking and allows them to get a feel for life as a Viking complete with taking over new land, pillaging villages and epic battle scenes.
Preparing for an Expedition
Gamers will need plenty of skill and strategic thinking in order to progress through Expedition: Viking. There are lots of different elements that need to be balanced such as building a village and developing it, sending out explorers to discover new territories and battling rival tribes in order to take over their land. Although there is a storyline, it is rather weak and interactions between characters can leave a little to be desired. however, anyone who has the true heart of a Viking will not really care about these factors and will be happy to get on with the pillaging and exploring.
Getting your Viking on
Anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to be a Viking and go on quests should make sure that they check out Expedition: Viking. Although the game needs a little polishing in places and there are a few bugs in the system, it manages to pack in plenty of action and adventure and features cool combat that will turn plays into Viking heroes.
